Now I'm going quite a bit off script with debts to pay but I thought this might be useful for my fellow GMs anyway.
I used the Following Maps Of Mastery terrain card sets
- all of Cavern Tunnel Tiles 1 (except for single sided cut up for objects tile)
- all of Cavern Tunnel Tiles 2 (except for single sided cut up for objects tile)
- 6 tiles from Surveillance Station
to make this map
Guess where the miners will be making their last stand against the droids when the PCs show up.
By the way my black "that's not a coffee table, it's a dinner table for hobbits" coffee table is 56 inches by 34 inches, and it pretty much got filled up with the particular lay out, the cards are 8 inches by 5 inches, some of the cavern tunnel tiles are rotated 90 degrees relative to others. Oh and I use minis. Last year I maid a $270 pledge for Chris West's "Battle Stations" kick starter and I got one printed copy of every map and tile set he had previously published under the maps of mastery logo (along with Battle stations 1 and 2). This is my first time using the cavern tunnel tiles.
For the mining facility in Debts to pay I will be using the mining facility side of the Distant Outposts maps. If only my "that's not a coffee table it's a dinner table for hobbits" coffee table were 68 by 44 inches (instead of "only" 56 by 34 inches) I'd be able to fit all 4 mining facility maps on the table at the same time. As it is I can only place 2 maps on the table at time, I'd even be thrilled to have a 66 by 34 inch "coffee table" because that would let me have 3 maps on the table at a time. But my beautiful peruvian wife who is remarkably supportive of my gaming hobby even though it doesn't interest her, said the current coffee table is as large as we're going to go until we get a house (we now have a 2 bedroom apartment, once a guest bedroom and will within a year or so be the bedroom of our first child, yes my wife is pregnant yay!).
By the way I got this shirt
for Christmas
