CC and Objectives - May be a Dumb Question

By NeonKnight, in Star Wars: Armada

OK, big question here, but the way it is worded in the rules booklet and displayed on the map is a little ambiguous.

Example:

CORFAI is listed as having +3 Objective Cards

Now, does that mean if my opponent is attacking Corfai (currently unoccupied) and I am Defending, I provide my Fleets 3 Objective cards plus an additional 3 objective cards?

Or Do I just just bring my fleet's 3 objective cards?

Additionally, does it mean if I am attacking an unoccupied Saberhing Asteroid Belt I know the only objective card in play is the green ASTEROIDS Objective card?

I'm pretty sure the answer (for Corfai and similar locals) is You choose from the fleet's 3 objective cards.

But hey, things I thought I was right about before I have since found out I was wrong on.

The + Objective Cards, is this number of Cards from the 3 in your Fleet.

Some will list, for example, Asteroids + 2 Objective Cards.

You choose 2 (out of the 3 of your fleet), and then present all 3 to your opponent.

And yes, some places are desolate enough to only have One Objective Card.

The only way you play a different objective there, is if you stick a base there.

If a location does not have a base sticker, it is unoccupied. Refer to the location objectives box on the map; the cards listed here make up the pool of objectives. Campaign objectives may be listed by name. Standard objectives are indicated with a number preceded by "+". If standard objectives are listed, the defneder must choose the indicated number of cards from the three cards listed on his fleet roster and add them to the pool. The assaulting player chooses the objective from the final pool.

You can think of it as the default state is no objectives. Then, you add in whatever objectives the map tells you to. The "+X Objective Cards" draws from your fleet objectives.

Thanx Dras, that is what I thought. But other than this forum, my entire AW Armada play experience is:

Me - Empire

My 17 year Old son - rebels

Another thing to keep in mind is that you use Skilled Spacers to change your fleet's objectives before you pick the 2 for your location (if the location is a +2 as mentioned before). This means that in some cases you might not be able to use Skilled Spacers if the location only lists green objectives.
