Good Imperial ship builds to include in a list are:
Typical Fleets may include
I would decide which ships you are really interested in playing, and figure what sort of fleet you would like to run.
Are you interested in having large ships pounding your enemy to scrap? Swarms of fighters bombing their ships apart? Would you prefer to outmaneuver your opponent, get in close and blast them with ordnance? Do you want more of a mixed force in general?
I prefer huge ships. What is easy?
You could run a double ISD list with some fighter support and a Gozanti flotilla probably. Gear one ISD as a ship killer (ISD II, gunnery team, good turbos), and the other as a carrier (ISD I, extended coms, expanded hanger, flight controllers). Flavor to taste with fighters and probably a coms-net Gozanti.
Get qualified then we help Nub
Also how many of the first fighter wave?
one kit only
Hmm some more fighter packs to get a nice fighter wing going
Thank you frends!
What do you think about my first fleet?

Not bad just remember if you get advanced gunnery you can't put it on the ISD with gunnery teams
Thanks! What else recommend?
You don't really have enough fighters to justify the two Gozanties I would drop one and fit some more fighters
What do you think about jamming field for Gozanty?
As somebody who has recently nose dived into armada himself.
I would advice you to go for something more balanced to get yourself familiar with ALL the mechanics.
You need insight into how all the ships in this game handle and perform and the best way is to play them.
I learned a lot by simply copying this:
The maker gives great advice on how to fly the list too.
1 Large, 1 Medium, 1 Light ship.
That to me seems perfect for learning how to play.
