Ok so...

Fielding Valen Rudor last night and we came across something. Moodswing was fielding 4 A-Wings and as I went to strike them we realized that Valen Rudor is immune to counter when the A-Wing was also engaged with another squadron.

This is a sanity check...making sure that we didn't miss something about Valen Rudor and that obnoxious grin.

We were both having beverages and laughing our Ben's off at what an absolute bargain Valen Rudor is.

So were we right or just dazed by Valen Rudor's pearly whites?

You are correct. We found much the same - Valen Rudor does a swell job of attacking Counter squadrons when they're engaged with more than just him. He's quite good at just being a bully.

I'm all about hyperbole, but "worse than Ben" is kind of a stretch.

Why, I once saw Ben win a Hyperspace Assault game by jumping out of hyperspace directly onto Mecatol Rex. I told him there were no planets in this game and anyway you can't hyperspace into a gravity well but he pulled out the TI3 rules and did it anyway.
