This is how aliens take over the world in some Doctor Who episode I think.

By the afternoon, the egg cleanup was complete, but the ocean had more presents for the island’s kiddos. Legos—much harder to gather, and dangerous to sea creatures—were washing ashore. “This isn’t funny anymore,” the mayor said.

I don't know why, but the "This isn't funny any more," made me laugh.

I don't see the problem with the lego's, fish have no feet to step on them...
