depends on the number of players i suppose. For a 2 player game, a normal sized table should be enough. For 3-4 players you might need more like a dinner table... but hard to tell since the game isnt out yet

The rules are now available online, according to what I read there, it seems like you ll need space for 9 tiles per player plus space for your race sheet. The tiles look to be the same size as TI tiles, so if you can play that, then you can play this.
LOL. Does FFG need to start color coding their games for table size now like they do for card sleeves?

+1. I'd say if you have a table big enough to play TI3 you should be good for RW.
If you don't own TI3, your average dining room table is probably good. Epic box games do generally require a lot of table space though, so I wouldn't count on the little fold out card table in the basement being enough
Or just pick up one of these:

Impressive! Now if only I could afford the nearly 9k+.

I quite doubt it.
At the sneak peek event last night they had a game setup on each of their tables in the main room. Those tables are about 5x5'. Take a look at the pics on the event center page. Four people could play on those with plenty of comfortable space for all the various counters, cards, minis, etc. I would say your average card table would be adequate while a dining room table would be more than sufficient. At least until there is an expansion...
That sultan is a nice table, though sadly way out of my range. Should I ever be disgustingly rich, I will get one and not even think for a moment of third world hunger.
More on topic, I found that a 4’x4’ worked fine with two players, with plenty of room for all the components, and a third could easily be squeezed in, perhaps even a fourth if the areas are all kept tidy.
The Sultan actually strikes me as a big waste of money. I'm sure it's a good table and all, but all those drawers at the "player stations" seem like they'd be a pain to empty out and refill every time we switched games. Unless we were on a kick playing the same game all the time (which does happen, but not a lot), I think that thing would be more trouble than it's worth.
If I had $9k to blow on an expensive table, I think I'd go for that Microsoft digital table doohickey. Mind you, I only say this because I never expect to have that much money and nothing better to use it on than a table. =P
This game does not require a lot of space, relatively speaking, and Ive played with the max of four.
Arkham takes up way more space (especially if you are using an expansion), as does Descent. Ild say its somewhere between Chaos in the old World and the base Arkham Horror game without expansion.
Do yourself a favor though. Get a small plastic box with lots of compartments to hold the markers... you can get one at Michaels for like 3 bucks... I have about 10 for use with different games.
I play a 2-player game on a table that is just under 3 foot by 3 foot, and have a good amount of room to spare. A 4 player game in that space would be tight, but could still be doable. A 4'x4' table would be more than sufficient.
we use a 3 by 4 table with stand up dinner trays, you can get for 15 bucks, they work they seperate everyones units an it works fine with 4 players

Buying a plano tacklebox for all the bits is part and parcel of my FFG game-buying strategy these days. If I don't have any spares lying around, I'll go pick up a couple before I even bring the game home! =P
