If you had to start your Armada playing over again, what would be your first purchase after a starter and extra dice?

I waited until Wave 2 because I wanted the Mon Cals and I wanted the ISD & Raider. I am still happy with those purchases. Do I need 5 Raiders and 4 MC30s?

Happy Friday! My Pelta and 2x Arquitens are clearing Chinese customs as we speak.

If I were starting again today, first purchase would be one of each flotilla pack, and one each of imperial and rebel squadrons 1. That combination adds so much depth to the game and keeps it balanced.

I would definitely have skipped buying duplicates of everything in the Core set and just jumped straight on the Interdictor and Arquitens. Then fighter packs.

Everything.

Also challenge Ben in hopes he can teach me a thing or two before he kills the game.

I'd skip the core set, eBay rulers and damage deck, and buy:

4 MC30's

then...

4 GR-75's

then...

8 CR90's

Enough to keep me happy for months right there...

I always buy 2 of everything so nothing would change

Still the same largely:

1 Gladiator, 3 Assault Frigates and MC80 for Ackbar.

If I were starting over, my first post-core set purchase would definitely be the ISD. So iconic and I almost can't bring myself to run an Imperial list without one. After that, all the fighters!

I'm sure it would largely be the same except for... not buying 3x extra Nebs for XI7s, CA90s for Leading Shots and MC30cs for TRCs and APTs.

All of you new players have it lucky.
