Any one create custom Allen species with oggdude's character creator? Suggestions for omwati stats or abilities?

I'd go with...

Special Abilities: Omwati characters start with one rank in Perception. They still cannot train perception past two during character creation.

Eidetic Memory: Omwati are adept, beginning at a very young age, with memorizing and processing information. An Omwati character can recall, with near-perfect precision, any event or object she has personally witnessed. Omwati also remove up to on Skulduggery and Lore skill checks to solve puzzles or riddles.

You'd do perception, rather then a choice in mechanics, gear head or computers? I thought it was a technical or mathmatical aptitude or was that just what they were used for and I'm misremembering?
