You are on an Armada forum. The people here will be understandably biased toward loving this game. We want more people to play and I'll even say, whether competitive, campaign or casual... the bottom line is that we want an engaging experience. At the end of the day, we want to have fun, share war stories and drink beverages with cool folks.

3. Wave 5 and CC have given us some much new content... surely we have an infinite more things to discuss on the forums right now.

In summary, I think most of FFG games are drugs and my wallet cries for feeding this addiction. I want us, the Armada community to be the best... I want peeps in other forums to be jealous of us and want to join up with us.

My $.02 on this...

Everybody has the right to have a negative view of the game or it's components. Hell, I'm not a fan of some things from time to time. Just don't expect to get a lot of love if you post up how the whole game sucks and if you don't try to have a rational argument about it. Also, people need to be a little less angry/aggressive on those who have opposing opinions. There is truth in not 'feeding the troll'.

I, for one, welcome our new Ben overlords.

Bitching about a game mechanic on a fan forum, in particular in the global context of "Armada sucks because of X or Y" is the classic, post-traumatic-I-Got-My-Ass-Handed-To-Me disorder, which I will be the first to admit I suffer from regularly. Being frustrated and lashing out is not entirely unnatural, but we are the internet, we aren't your councilors and with 100% certainty I can speak for every single human being on the Internet we do not give a **** about your problem. Call a friend, call your mom, find someone who might actually care, but trust us... its definitely not us... If you cry in the forum, put on your fire suit, because it will always get ugly fast.

I was thinking about it and I just want it this to be clear about the whole "Ben" thing to people looking at it without context. Especially because this is the internet and I kind of feel responsible for getting the Ben thing started. No one is making fun of an actual Ben or you if you are named Ben. It looks like "Ben" is just our everyday villain straw man. The boogeyman. A reaction against some of the extra negative threads that never seem to go anywhere.

I copied down the best of the best from the forums onto an MS Word file. Some of them would work best if you had a particular situation set up on the game-board, then the key line. I'm particularly keen to do the single A-wing against the SSD, the single YV-666, the 800 point Imps versus 400 points Rebels, and if someone can get a pick-ax....
