Hello all,
I noticed a few threads on this topic and all seem to be focused on buying materials from the States. This is my experiences in creating a reusable map while living in Canada. I hope it helps any Canadian Armada players who are looking at doing this.
This is presented in a step by step tutorial style in order to make it as simple as possible. This is very easy to do.
Step 1 - Materials.
Simple poster frame bought from Michaels.
Small Velcro "buttons" also bought from Michaels.
Total was around $20 CAN due to a frame sale. They always have sales on.
Thats all you need.

Step 2 - Frame the Map
The poster frame is incredibly easy to install and you dont need any instructions on this. Once the map is secure in the frame then open the Velcro buttons and stick the "claw" end buttons into the center of each base circle.

Step 3 - Tokens and Stickers
The Stickers are the key part of this. I am an old x-wing player and like others who have done this, I used some x-wing tokens. If you do not have access to these then any similar sized light weight tokens/counters would work.
What I used:
5 Red Target lock = Rebel Bases
5 Blue Target lock - Imperial Bases
6 Shields - Rebel Outpost
10 Ion tokens - Rebel Presence
The stickers will place in the center of the tokens with no hassle. Then stick the furry velcro buttons on the other side. Easy!

Step 4 - Complete
Yip. That is really all there is to this. You can see a couple of photos below of the board in use. I hope this simple tutorial helped.

Thanks all.
P.s. Let me know if the images are not showing. Had a little trouble with the uploads.
