TBH, Nah. i wasn't thrown off when playing on it at all. But i was never that up in arms about it anyway.
Not quite sure how the PoD stuff works with their international partners.
The last ones, Bespin and Endor took about six weeks if I remember correctly before they arrived in UK game stores. Not sure about other countries.

Reddit reports that it is totally weird, Reddit reports as well that new new matts offer much better grip than the old ones. So the starkiller map might be worth getting. I have yet to compare it to the non-ffg competition, Kraken and new Fischkrieg mats might still be better than the new FFG.
Looking forward to local tests in a few weeks when they reach the german regions.
