Love this podcast!
Starting to listen to this one, and, well, everyone's volume is at a nice 5; but Phil's is at an 11....he's yelling at me, haha!
my volume is a continual problem for us; my headset mic always seems to either be too far away or too close! Sometimes I also have an echo of everyone else's audio that we have to cut out of the recording manually

Maybe your mic is just too good at its job; well done though; I enjoy them all.

We asked on the Facebook page to see what type of things people want us to review now that the CR-90 campaign is over.
Well, I don't do Facebook all that often, but I did like the CR-90 Campaign, almost to the point of buying one...almost. Still. Holding. Out.
I think and interesting topic/contest/whatever is to discus what the three worst (least used) named pilots in each faction are (by consensuses) and create a small campaign utilizing them. I'm thinking Imps vs. Rebels of course and then factor in Scum somehow, IDK. As in the CR campaign, the player variant being what modifications they take to flush out their squad of rejects.
At the very least, it's a good Captain's question and possibly a contest.
Edited by clanofwolvesMy favorite Leia moment is when she has the two scoundrels at blaster-point in a tunnel and unloads on them for stranding her in a wretched hive of scum and villainy after the scruffy looking one professed his love for her.
More seriously, one of my favorite Leia moments is when she has unfrozen Han and he says "I love you" and she pulls the "I know" on him. From his perspective it would have been almost back-to-back with him saying it, which may be why she took that opportunity.
Regarding Jango and Boba, J got killed by the premier duelist in the Jedi Order, while Boba isn't actually dead. The biggest gripe I have with it all is that Windu got thrown out a window instead of Emps bringing in Boba to get revenge for his dad. I'm hoping that this lapse will be rectified in the (eventual) Boba Fett stand-alone film, featuring him as a grown but still young bounty hunter, hired by the Empire to track down the rumors of a Jedi lurking in the undercity of Coruscant. Said Jedi will turn out to be Mace Windu, having survived his fall per the suggestion of Samuel L Jackson and George Lucas.
So, this episode is about the CR90 campaign, why does the first post talk about Rogue One?
One question about our campaign mission ... it sounds like you started the corvette without energy. I don't know if that's a mission requirement, but they did errata the epic rules to allow the epic ships to start with full energy.
Much like the error with destroying ships by crashing them into the epic ship, this might have changed the way the campaign played out.
We have made some bad rule calls; that's true. The huge ship collision rule misinterpretation probably helped the CR90 more than anything, though. The energy starting on the ship is a bit of a tricky question in my opinion. It's hard to say what the current intent of the mission writer would be. The epic energy rule was an errata specifically for tournament play, and missions were not mentioned. We followed Mu0n's lead (he is running a cr90 campaign on TC), regarding the energy rules. There are actually missions in the campaign that deal with the CR90 needing to build up energy.
It would probably be more fair if the CR90 started with energy, yep. But i'm not sure that one is on us. And, I think there are plenty of missions here where it would probably only delay the CR90's demise by a round or two. The bottom line is that the majority of these missions did not stand the test of time in our estimation.

Re: Rogue one: looks like Jim copypasted the wrong episode description!

Yep....I'm an idiot. I always pull up the last thread to grab the graphic as it's the easiest way to get it. I think I grabbed the text from the old thread, as well. Call me an idiot...and you won't be the first.
As for the rules issues....consider us your play testers to find all the mistakes that you then don't have to make. ![]()
