My request made on January 7th is still processing.
I'm very thankful that FFG is so good about replacing component issues, but I do hope to get my Shyla soon. I've finished painting everything else already at this point.

On of my Gamorrean weapons were broken, but I had a Reaper metal axe that I glued on the end to give it some variety. Who knows how long that will last though. I had to cut off on of my Rancor tabs because no forcing or hot water was going to fix it, but I used Apoxie Sculpt to make a new one and I ended up pretty happy with the results after I used the sculpt on all the gaps.
I already replace all my lightsabers and similar staffs etc... with metal rods. I can't stand pool noodle lightsabers.
I do so, too. By the way: the Inquisitors sword handle is thinner than its blades ... Drilling a hole through that was a mess.
4 of 4 Gamorrean axes broken.
3 of 4 Weequay guns bent to being unrepairable.
4 of 4 Tuskens' lower stick bent to being unrepairable.
1 Dewback shock lance bent like a bretzel.
2 of 6 Probes broken of the base.
Shyla's knife bent to being unrepairable.
Both barrels of the Tank had pool noodle barrels, but have been repaired with a hair drier.
2 of 2 Hired Gun guns had pool noodle barrels, so I cut them short. Same for both of my AT-STs' front guns and Terro's gun tip.
My Dewback's base was bent so much, the figure couldn't even stand. Repaired with hair drier, same for Bantha, Jabba and the Rancor.
The parts of the Rancor didn't fit at all, lots of hair drier, knife and green stuff activity needed.
The material used is not made for 1 mm tubes like gun barrels, lances or light swords. Still, they try to do smaller details from set to set. Maybe they just crossed the line towards impossibility ...

From their FAQ page:
"Most requests are processed within two weeks. There are some situations that may cause a request to take longer.
If a game is out of stock, we may need to wait several weeks (or, occasionally, months) to receive a new supply of parts from our manufacturer. Your request will be placed on hold, and we will send you an email to let you know about the delay. The request will be automatically filled as soon as parts are back in stock.
During certain times of the year, we receive many more requests than usual. These include the weeks after the Christmas holiday season or after industry events where several new products are released. Requests submitted at these times may take longer to process while we work through the additional requests."
Two weeks is pretty much the norm, and it may take longer since:
1) It's right after the holidays, and
2) I bet a ton of people had issues with the minis in this expansion.
Hopefully they start shipping the replacements soon, because I'm just as excited as you to finally get mine, but it pretty much is always gonna take this long.
It's more likely because they shoved them in the same bag with the multiple giant and heavy Rancor pieces.
This!
Still waiting on my component request that I submitted on 1/07. Anyone who submitted a request get an update yet?
I've not had a response but if I look on their site I do see it looks like it's been accepted

Yeah, I got that message, too. I wonder if they had to print new ones?

You may be right. From the sounds of it there have been a fair number of people who are having trouble with the same piece, so it's possible that they've got a bit of a shortage.

Ironically, I just got an email a few minutes ago that my replacement pieces are shipping. Exciting!
Nothing for me yet but that gives me hope!
I had to message them because one gamorean broken and got a luke skywalker in place of a Shyla Varad. So I have three jedi knight skywalkers instead of two.

That's weird, but why did you have 2 before that anyway?

I have two core sets and I have at least two groups playing campaign. One jedi luke for each group. So I hope I hear from them at some point in time. I used a heat gun on three of the weequay guns. They were bent but they are straight now. The character cards had dings in them from the rancor bouncing around. Still able to use them. So not really that bad in my opinion.
I had one broken axe in my Jabba's realm. Overall I was happy with the quality and finish of the miniatures.
Apparently I was lucky to get just one broken axe-head in my box, which was since pinned into place, and a couple bent Weequay guns that were sorted with hot water.
A few slightly bent pieces, otherwise fine. Box came all the way to Japan, too. Also, I was able to get the rancor together without hot water. Wrapped a towel around him to protect my hand from the sharp bits, and squeezed everything into place. Base was a little warped, but his own weight fixed that. By the sounds of it, I have been very lucky!
Finally got my Shyla and other figures back. Both Gamorreans were broken again . This time, I just went and glued it. Good lord.
Glad to have Shyla, now, though.
I got my Shyla and Gamorrean guard and they were fine.
customer service replaced my bits quickly, but one of the replacement guys had a broken pitchfork as well, I'm just going to have to customize something.

I only had 1 broken Gamorrean axe in my JR and asked for a replacement end of December...Just received my new Gamorrean...with a broken axe.
It was in a 4"x4"x4" box with some white foam curlies and placed in a plastic bag. The bag has marks all over it where the Gamorrean has been jostled around. I'm not surprised the axe broke.
Probably should have changed the mini to have the axe blade coming right out of the hand instead of going to thin plastic and then the blade.
I'll try to glue it all together but that's pretty sad. Not going to bother asking for another replacement.
I think the design of the Gamorreans weapons lends itself to having some issues. A big tip on a small spear (you may take this time to get all of your immature jokes out of your system
) is just a pretty big risk. Seems like IA used to be a little more careful with stuff like this- for instance, look at Diala's pose- neat, very Twi'lek-like pose, but also clearly meant to make it so that the saber's blade didn't stick out entirely and was more reinforced. Same goes for the Royal Guards spears, for instance. Even Vader's mini has a very closed stance, allowing the cape and other parts of the mini protect the saber, rather than having it stick out at a more exposed angle.
I like the more open stances now (Vinto's, for instance, is great), but I don't know if the old method of packing is going to work anymore.
