Someone here said Ezra cant be snoke because he witnessed the clone wars....TECHNICALLY Ezra did too, in fact, he ENDED the clone wars, by bringing peace between the Republic and CIS forces against the Galactic Empire....

"The former true self of Snoke was revealed to be Gallius Rex (Aftermath : "Life debt" ) , who becames Fleet admiral, the Operator, secret adviser of Palpatine . Its a character line that will probably follow biography of Cronal."From Aftermath: Life Debt....
- Gallius Rax is an orphan living on Jakku during the time of the Galactic Republic and he is befriended by Sheev Palpatine who appears to be doing Sithy things on the planet.
- Gallius has Force Sensitivity and is actually able to resist the power of Palpatine, which of course makes him very valuable to the future Emperor.
- Rax becomes a puppet master and special advisor to the Emperor. He’s the one pulling the strings behind the scenes.
- When Rae Sloane looks at him, it’s like she’s looking at a hologram.
- He’s described as being very pale and his eyes as black holes.
- He believes it’s very important for the Empire to recruit children and indoctrinate them at a young age. This is exactly what the First Order does as opposed to a clone army in The Force Awakens.
- By the end of the book he’s calling himself Emperor Rax.
Aftermath spoilers on why I don't think this is true:
Rax is way too young. He also has no real connection to the force.
Aftermath does hint at Snokes real origin, though: Rax sends everything to Jakku to retrieve something, probably the thing he guarded. I believe that this is Snoke, in some crude stasis. An ancient being from before Jedi or Sith existed, powerfull in the force. That is why he (kind of) looks like a mummy. Now why was he guarded by Palpatine? He was the only real successor should Palpatine die. The only being strong and wise enough to keep an Empire together. However that also made him a rival, so he had to remain in the state he was in. Rax was the only one who knew of the backup plan, although he probably needed to figure it out first.

Snoke sounds like Smoke. Smoke and mirrors . . . Snoke doesn't actually exist, but is a hologram designed to give the First Order a disfigurehead Palpatine expy to keep them satisfied. I mean, apparently the Empire just falls apart when they don't have one, so the remaining Moffs got together and created a fake.
Fact:
Snoke is a surviving Ewok after the fall out on Endor's Moon from the second Death Star. Some even say Wicket. (His ears were surgically reattached.) The Death Star posed no danger to the Moon itself, he felt betrayed by the Rebels. He is out for revenge on the Republic.
