Two versions of Tie Strikers for XWing?!

I don't think yet another imperial shuttle is high on the priority list.

It's not like we really needed more named Tie Fighters, but we got a bunch anyway.

If Tie Striker Limo will sell, and we know it will, then it will appear at some point.

I mean, once you get the Gunboat, and maybe Skipray (though that is as iconically Scum in Legends), you're just out of non-TIE imperial small ships. It's nothing but TIEs and Shuttles all the way down. And maybe the I-7 but that really doesn't do anything new and will just confuse people.

The Skipray was used by the Imperial Remnant in Zahn's triology.

Vader flies a V-Wing in the book Lords of the Sith.

Gunboat, of course.

Maul's Sith Infiltrator is neither a fighter nor a shuttle.

The Chiss clawcraft would be the next most exciting TIE-esque fighter.

System Patrol Craft might work as another large or huge.

HEL-NAH... It was in the film for ten seconds.

FINISH TFA FFG!

So was the Quadjumper Joe.....And now suddenly it's a thing. I would have preferred something else than the blink and you miss it ship for Scum.

Lots of awesome ties left!

Droid, predator, Hunter...

I'd be ok with a mod that just added crew and bomb slots to the striker. It would play very interestingly but steps on too many toes.

Honestly, much like the /SF, the only thing the guy in the back of the Striker is doing is operating the bombs normally - maybe a Syck like title where you pick: either you have somebody to run the bomb chute or you hide Agent Kallus in the back seat or whatever.

Well right now there are two natural versions. You have duchess with alerons to be more of that arc-dodger that takes at least 2 attacks to kill (unless you were that unlucky so the extra green die wouldn't have helped you anyways) and the countdown light tank with hull/shield upgrade.

Now how do they compare in the meta is an entirely different story. There is a need for heavy attack mitigation. Countdown is almost like the Protos Imortal from SC2. Good against those 4 dice attack but will melt against a TIE swarm.

The wedge hull was a transport for the Deathtroopers. It's bigger than the TIE striker.

It's also seen on the trading outpost at the start: it's a standard Sienar Imperial dropship.

Oh I agree, but I am saying just finish TFA first.

;)

I have a huge Imperial Fleet and I LOVE TIE FIGHTERS... Why are some of these hipsters trying to act like TIE ain't even cool.?

Now Wookieepedia is calling it a "Death Trooper Transport" but it doesn't site any sources.

Eh, don't try to argue with them, I tried to argue that the A-Wing didn't have the firepower to take down a Star Destroyer when the only source they used was the 'Star Wars Rogue Squadron Official Player's Guide' aka you could use the A-Wing in missions normally reserved for the B-Wing or X-Wing where they take down 1-2 Star Destroyers in a match therefore any A-Wing can solo a Star Destroyer (and this was considered canon by them before the Legends split). Never mind the fact that this argument also means that a Buick can take down a Star Destroyer or that a single lucky fighter could decimate the Imperial fleet. The editors are very protective of their babies and figure that their head canon is given legitimacy even if it is in the Legends section.

Oh goody... This thread again.
