The insanity rules are kind of wierd. Is permanent insanity incurable?

It is curable, i think, but it takes a cetain amout of months, i do not know the exact rules for it but i think it is at the end of the chapter in the rulebbok about insantities.

Just flipped through that chapter, could not find anything about that. It may be written in another chapter (happens often enough).

Now that i think of it i think in my previous post, i could have been remembering a house rule. my bad. Sorry.

Isn't the rule on page 67 (under Permanent Insanity) about whether you recover from one at end of encounter or it becomes permanent.

Recoverig from insanity on page 68 and 69 covers then dealing with permanent ones - a multi-month effort, with the option if GM permits of using advancement points to buy off insanities. A "critical wounds to the mind" they are tough to recover from.
