Potential B-Wing/E2 Improvements?

So I woke up before my alarm this morning and had a thought about the B-Wing/E2 (1 point mod, add a crew slot). The B-Wing has been less commonly played lately, and I wondered if the /E2 option could be a fix if... um... fixed.

B-Wing/E2 dual card option:

side 1: mod, 0 points, add a crew slot

side 2: title, 1 point, add a crew slot

This allows the tradeoff of the valuable modification slot (which could do a lot for the B-Wing) at 0 points or keep the mod slot at a 1-point penalty (making your chosen crew for the B-Wing more expensive).

Thoughts?

Overall, that should've just been a title in the first place. I like your idea of a dual card to give you the option for it, but I think this card should be FAQed to be a title instead of a mod slot.

the named B's are pretty expensive to build around, so a 0 point title to add crew that does not take the mod slot may help it out. They will still be expensive. but not as bad as they are now.

What would you put in the Mod slot instead? Unless you want Nera shenanigans, I don't think you need it.

Realistically I think we'll only get -2. But if they were to do a title, I would assume we would get some X-7 level goodness. +1 evade token on a 1 agility ship is allot different than on a 3 agility ship. combined with a mod that allows you to carry 2 cannons (one that is 3 points or less, and the other must costs 4 points or higher)(some point reduction on the cannons to since you have to take a minimum of 5 points of cannon upgrade, this is where I would -3) and give up your primary attack to double tap with both would bring the B-wing up to "see's some form of play." Besides BBBBZ and it's minor variations, that is.

Yes, definitely this. There aren't any worthwhile mods a B-Wing even wants, outside of Nera Deadeye wanting Guidance Chips (but her desire for a crew slot is very low).

Like, what are you going to do, put Shield Upgrade or Stealth Device on a B-Wing? lol

The Bwing carries a massave arsenal of weapons, but to allow certain weapons to doubletap is to make all other weapons useless.

Maybe I'm just a try hard, but to a point, good does equal fun (except Dengaro, palp, etc.), because I usually play in casual tournaments, and it seems a whole lot more fun if I end up winning a couple games.

The biggest improvement to B-Wing/E2 is U-wing.

For 0 points you get large blocky base, second crew slot and 1 Agility.

Sorry, but unless Bs get something like TIE/D title, they're currently not worth their space on the table.

And to think (non-TLT) Ys and Bs were the craft I wanted to field the most, when I was just getting into the game...

Unless you have a Biggs hiding somewhere in there, you will only get 1 torp off IF YOU'RE LUCKY. Depends on the match up of course, but this will die very fast.

The E2 should be a title and cost -1pts. you can get a free 1pt crew or just toss chopper on there and be -1pt cost. Just Farlander with Hera crew, trick shot, collision detector, for 29pts is decent. Or Ibtisam with Hera crew for 28pts. Lets these expensive aces use their abilities without dumping a lot of points into them.

I would love to see some kind of "cannon fire link" upgrade for my beloved B-wings (that would be super thematic). The big issue with it is the sensor slot, just imagine TIE/D with Fire Control System (otherwise known as Vessery+Ryad). That combo is definitely worth more than zero points.
