How to make a hot pursuit

In obe of my adventures i am planning a getaway with landspeeders for the pc's.

But how to make it really engaging and hot?

Any ideas?

You could apply the case rules, but change the initial range bands to personal scale and this make it much easier to have some shooting going on.

Once the players manage to get out of personal range the case goes on planetary scale.

Or you make it really short and hot like it should be, dangerous based on the things players and npcs do and make the opposition dangerous via ace talents while keeping the speed of both vehicles still roughly the same to not have the chase done within 1 turn. :)

The tables for spending advantages in space combat from fly casual have tons of good ideas which can translated to ground chases too, with tons of potential collisions, vehicle crits based on collisions and explosions, etc
