Ahoy hoy,

I started painting mine last night (loving the look so far) but was curious for anyone else that's done it, how do you protect them afterwards? I usually use Testors Spray Laquer on my models, will that work well with the dials or does anyone have an alternate suggestion?

Testor's Dullcoat seems to be the instrument of choice for most painters.

For the dials, I use Rustoleum 2X Coverage gloss. I also use it on all of my carboard pieces. I also put a 5/16" nylon washer in between the two halves of the dials to keep them from rubbing against each other. I've been playing for four years now, and my X-Wing and TIE FIghter dials look like new.

Thank you - however, I am talking about the new movement dials - not one of my paint jobs, but this is the kind of thing I mean.

Ah. Well, Testor's Dullcoat shold work just fine on those as well.
