The Pilot card for Pure Sabacc Says: "When Attacking, if..."

Now, Do I follow the X-Wing Rule of thumb here? "Don't do what the card doesn't say"..... or do I "assume" that the pilot skill should be "when attacking with your Primary weapon", and that secondary weapons cant have dice added to the roll? (I'm looking at You EPT: Snap Shot)

Do what the card says. Do not do what the card doesn't say. The card doesn't say primary only, so don't do that.

I never understood why this saying existed until the U-Wing 180 discussion came up.

Never assume . And do what the card says . Not that there's too many options for secondary weaponry on Pure Sabacc .

There are several pilots that add results or dice when attacking that dont specify primary.
