Recently Got into Armada and was wondering how well two ISD's would do, I already have one ISD, and a Victory from the Core Set, i'm not sure what ship to get next but I thought getting two ISD's was sufficient enough, so here's my list. All feedback and advice is appreciated, thanks!

Two out of three of your objectives are really, really bad for this list.

Most Wanted: Your ISD chosen is now 240+ points, and on most opposing lists, your target will be a flotilla or corvette. Basically free points for them.

Contested outpost is OK, but with only six command, the new meta may put you behind as well.

Superior Positions: ISDs, while fast, don't turn very well at speed. You'll be spamming navigates to keep fighters and more nimble ships out of your rear arc, which isn't easy even with navigate. A bit easier if you had Jerjerrod instead of Motti, but still a bad pick for ISDs.

The list itself will suffer immensely in the current meta. Most lists bring at minimum four activations, and you don't have many deployments either, putting you at a disadvantage there too. If this was Wave II with the Wave V fighters, it would be a monster. Not so much now.

So yes, he can make his ISD a 240pt Monstrosity, but, as long as he can make his opponent pay just as much - OR use his force aggressively to destroy the enemy, it snot inherenely BAD.... its not as good as being able to toss it on your own flotilla, but its not BAD when you choose BOTH yours and the Opponents ship as Player 2.

If he was player one, sure, I would avise not to pick the OPPONENTS Most Wanted

So what would you recommend me getting next for a imperial build?

If you are going with an Avenger title, the other ISD needs to have Overload Pulse Ion Cannons.

For dual isd with avenger, I imagine something like this:

Light Cruisers, Gladiators, and Assault Carriers are all solid choices to go with in expanding your Imperial fleet, and compliment an ISD well.

Here's a revised list that I came up with,

Find opponents who will let you proxy stuff to test with before committing to anything.... or just buy 2 of everything and adjust from there.

Well.. for Double ISD list I would do a ISD2/ISD1 mix and add a Comms net Gozanti for extra activation/Most Wanted pick. The rest of the fleet can be built from there.

Also, Solar Corona may be a better choice than Superior Positions.
