So the other day I finally busted out the epic ships for a campaign I've been running and to much dismay the bases were warped! A notable curve that prevented me from using them.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? Do you think FFG would replace them?

Happened to me once with a Millennium Falcon base. I contacted with the distributor for my country (Spain), and they sent a replacement at no cost (excellent customer service). Try and ask, nothing to loose with it.

Warped bases have been mentioned before. . .you could use a different large base and the epic peg while you wait for a replacement.

Or, you could pretend the ship has a warp drive instead of a hyperdrive.

FFG customer service is top notch so I'm sure if you email them they will take care of you. I got a Striker with a deformed piece where the peg attaches to the model and they are sending a replacement.

Both of the bases that came with my Gozanti were warped badly enough that the cardboard wouldn't stay on properly and the ship would tip easily. I sent a note about it to customer support and got new bases in the mail a couple of weeks later.

This won't work, as Epic Bases and Large Bases, while very similar in look and identical in size, are actually different when it comes to the sockets. The epic peg and the standard large base peg do not fit in the other kind of base (very well).

Which, FYI, is just silly and pointless
