Hey Everybody!

I have been an X Winger for about a year now, but coming from a Battlefleet Gothic background, I long for the excitement of capital ships going at it. Probably didn't come out right but you get the gist. I have always leaned towards the Imperials, but I don't know if they suit my play style.

I like using squadrons and manoeuvrable ships. I have heard this is more Rebels scene, which makes me cry, but can the Empire fit into this kind of game?

So, any suggestions a new kid should know before collecting a huge fleet would be most appreciated. Probably some of you are already thinking, This is an old question, but I am sure it checks out. Peace through superior firepower!

In the past, the Imperials have been considered a little 'straightforward' and "this way towards enemy" with little maneuver.

Now, they can dance...

Just about ANYTHING is a legitimate playstyle for both sides at the moment.

Max out Arquitens and go from there.
