Somewhat off topic: but is ANY store NOT sold out of Armada?!

By NightwindKing, in Star Wars: Armada

Yes yes, perhaps this belongs in off-topic...but the forum description says 'NOT related to Armada' so...here I am lol.

Anybody have any suggestions in the US for where to get Armada stuff? Ebay, Amazon, my FLGS, Monkeyminiatures, all sold out of pretty much everything Armada besides the base game and Neb B. With no idea when they'll get new stock in, my new Christmas money is burning a hole in my pocket :D

So, any suggestions? :) Or any idea when it normally comes back in stock? FFG shipping is too pricey for me...and I refuse to pay higher than MSRP, just FYI. :)

Miniature Market has just about everything in stock, one Amazon seller has almost everything (no Phoenix Home), and two stores I've been in have had stock. (Play the Game, Read the Story in Syracuse NY and Jupiter Games in the greater Binghamton NY area)

War Store has stock of everything but Gonzi's plus 5% off this weekend.

Roll for Crit, everything in stock, even Wave 5.

Cool Stuff Inc, everything but Interdictors and Liberties.

I usually go with miniature market, but that's because I live four hours from the nearest FLGS. MM has good prices though.

I got $100 in Amazon cash. My wife is going to make me buy curtains and bedsheets if they don't restock soon...

Thanks man. I'll check the Amazon sellers...they all seem to ALSO have pricey S&H.

Miniatures Market I have only ever had bad experiences with unfortunately. How have you found them?

coolstuffinc.com has been great every time I have ordered with them.

My FLGS is sold out...but they only brought in enough for me.

I've had good success with MM and WarStore. I would recommend either of those.

Thanks guys. Forgot about Warstore :) Also coolstuffinc. Only thing I find with stores that don't do free shipping is that I have to order a ton of stuff to make up for shipping costs...

Heck even home base, FFGC I guess had really good sales of wave 5 stuff. Seem to recall that like Peltas sold out.

Store in Portland has everything... I want to buy it all but no money. :(

Portland?

"Who is this? What's your operating number?"

San Antonio has spotty availability. CC box is available most places; I saw a Phoenix Home and Rebel squadrons at a few places, but the Imps seem largely sold out. Which is weird because a) we're pretty heavily Rebel-skewed hereabouts, and b) Armada is dead, so who's buying all this stuff??

Game Empire has a decent stock out here in Pasadena, California.

both of the local stores ("Dark Towers", and "Games and Things") had stuff when I was there the other day. I would caution against the Warstore.

I can recommend both Miniaturemarket and Coolstuff. I have bought from them for many years, and allways have been a satisfied customer.

I live in Norway and they have allways got my order there every time.

The only thing I that is not so good is the freight cost...lol :-)

They had sold out of everything by Monday, actually. Al went in to play some games, and I asked him to pick me up some stuff, but he said they had nothing at all. Tower was sold out, too, when he swung in there.

As Ardaedhel said, ARMADA IS DEAD

Down in the Rochester area Games and More had two each of CC, Pelta and RebSquadrons as of this Wed.

Level Up in St Paul likewise had a couple boxes of CCand Peltas as of the middle of this week.

From what I saw hunting this wave down most stores had tons of stuff just not any of the new wave they all said they only basically got two of each. I still found it easily with a simple call around to stores in the area. Saying this is the sign of a heathy game is deceiving as the last X-Wing release sold out despite getting cases of each and are still sold after the second shipment. Most of the shops I called said they would have more wave 5 in and just under estimated that the people that still play it seem to buy one of each when they buy a wave and I just had to wait a couple of days they would easily get more in. I bought one of each and the store had one of each left when I left.

In Hungary the stores are out of core sets but stocked up on pretty much everything else.

Portland Game Store at at least one phoenix home and a Imp light cruiser.

But, I live in Bend, OR myself. Trying to restart the local group that used to be here (It was a small one, and to sum it up, they dramaed themselves to death.)

But I plan to do traveling to Portland and Salem for Armada tournaments when I can. You'll see me around.

Edited because apparently I don't know how to type and spell, ha.

I try to strictly buy from amazon, since I get 2 day shipping. The prices were great 1-2 weeks ago on most things Armada. What I couldn't get from amazon I ordered from Miniatures Market. I've ordered from them a couple times, never had any issues. Just don't expect your shipment to arrive quickly...
