Yes I know these points. It was thought to be in respect to the known disadvantages of the card that Heff could be to date the best candidate for saboteur.

note, Sab is not and never free . You just get a free action, great. Still paying 2 points (could be Rey, FCS; so m any better things) and a crew slot to generally do nothing

But it's not. You are still paying 2 points for it, and performing that action in place of another you could. You say it would be better than a target lock often. I think that these occasions would actually be very rare, Leebo, Jyn and Lando crew would also, for a similar price, be used more often and more efficiently.

Is Heff the best place for it? Ya it's one of the better places for it, so feel free to pull it out for a casual stroll or two. But I highly doubt it triggers more than once in 2 games.

I want to try this when the batwing comes out. Should be funny if nothing else.

Because I have that slot reserved for an engine upgrade so I can get into position to bump the next guy!

Or they need to release a upgrade that synergises, e.g. lets you add a tractor beam token if you roll blanks, or just like sabine a unique upgrade "K2S0" that lets you add one damage per round to the target ship whenever saboteur is used.
