I caved in...Could do little else when I noticed my local store held 2 Kylo and 1 Rey starters left so I bought the lot.

So now Im the happy manager of yet another Star Wars sinkhole to pour my money into! Yay, win!

Anyways, im watching the tutorial and reading the rules while doing a solo testgame between one of each starter sets.

And Fin's ability made me wonder how attaching upgrades work.

The one thing I cant seem to find an answer to is if upgrades can be attached to any character or only characters of the same type (color) and allegiance (hero/villain)?

Upgrades of any color can be played on characters of any color, unless the card tells you it can only be played on characters of a certain color. If there is a restriction it will say "Blue/Red/Yellow Character Only."

A good example in the starter sets is Force Throw and Mind Probe, both say Blue Character only.
