Hull description and characteristics mismatch?

By Suhuy, in Rogue Trader

Hello.

Is there some inconsistencies in weapon capacity for some hulls?

According to description, the Vagabond Class merchant trader is depicted as mounting "small broadsides for defense" but has weapon capacity prow:1, dorsal:1. Should-it be port:1, starboard:1?

In a similar way, the Tempest class strike frigate should have "triple armored prow" and "heavy, short-ranger broadsides", but armoured prow is only available for cuisers, and it has weapon capacity Dorsal:2.

And, by the way, as cruiser's broadside Mars pattern macrocannon does more damage that common batteries, is there missing stats for sunsear and ryza pattern broadside batteries?

A dorsal weapon can fire to either side as well as forwards, it's a stretch of the word but could be considered a broadside but it's probably just writers saying something cool without checking the meaning. It happens quite often, the avoc-class raider is described as having relatively weak armour, but it actually has the most of published raiders. When background contradicts the Rules as Written, trust the rules.

As for the cruiser-class macrobatteries, they aren't missing as such, they just haven't been written yet. If you double the strength and increase the size of the other broadsides, maybe upgrade power a little on the lasers too, then you have the stats for a broadside macrobattery. It's basically twice as many guns of the same type, so no upgrade to direct damage.
