Corellian Gunship! Stronger shields then a CR90, slightly less hull, lots of black dice, and much more yaw but less speed. OR same speed as a CR90 but a lot less yaw.
What Ship/Class do you want to see most next wave?

Hey guys!! Make that:
Assault Gunboat: 22+
Also, out of curiosity, no one's mentioned anything about Bothan Ships?
...well the Empire does need more different ship types to blow up!
For the Imps:
Nebulon B2 Frigate

Alpha-class Star Wing (Assault gunboat):

For the rebels:
MC40

Just some artwork that we already know FFG has.
And of course, the almighty Executor
Whoa! Awesome stuff Eggzavier!
Where are these cards from? Which game?

Those are from the CCG, but I don't know which expansion as I no longer play the game.
Vindicator-class (a nice medium ship with long range firepower, falls between the Arquitens and the VSD-II):

And the Immobilizer 418-class (based on the Vindicator, to give us a cheaper gravity well ship option) :

Edited by Lord TareqVindicator-class, please. I second Lord Tareq, it fits perfectly between the Vic and the Arq and is quite handsome too. I don't think it's appeared in nucanon yet, but it should. Unlike Dreadnoughts etc. it fits perfectly with the Imperial aesthetic.
Alpha Class Star Wing for squadron (preferably with a rule similar to the absolutely thematic and awesome one in Star Wars: The Card Game)
Mobquet Transport for flotilla (I've been reconning Imperial Convoys in XWA)
Immobilizer 418 as a medium.
MC-75 for the new fans of Rogue One.... keeps the excitement going and possibly a Dreadnought as well. I've always loved those ships
I would love to see some ships from the Old Republic era perhaps! Maybe like a Harrower-Class Dreadnought!
Going based on production times, the MC-75 is highly unlikely for wave 6. IIRC, shmitty interviewed someone that had been involved with playtesting wave 6 back in September - likely too early for an MC-75 to make it in.
I'd like to see the Hammerhead for Rebels, along with an AF Mk I. The latter is unlikely, though - I predict the Quasar Fire instead. For imperials, I think that the Venator is likely - to resolve the large ship disparity between the factions.
No idea for a second Imp ship - though I'd like something like the Vindicator. Actually, they might give the Empire the Quasar Fire and give the Rebels a medium ship - that sort of symmetry works better, I think. No new squadrons this wave, I think.
If they already have U-wings and Strikers on the shelves...real good chance the MC75 is in wave 6.
How about a combat-ready flotilla? Not sure of any actual in-universe ships, but how about a pair of of Decimator-sized ships, but with something like a slot of either Turbolasers or Ordnance instead of the Fleet Support?
If the ability to spam such things as Assault Proton Torpedoes is too powerful, how about a Weapons Team as an offensive slot?
Brahatok gunship!

Agree on both.
I have to admit I haven't played the current interdictor yet but it seems thematically wrong to me. Currently too big & well armed in some respects. It should be a support ship that needs protection with stats based on around the 60 points range.
I've mentioned it before, but I feel the need to mention it again (and I will likely continue mentioning it until it happens!) I think a Rogue One ISD-I, but not just a repaint, a new model in its entirety, one made in accurate proportions to the Star Destroyers we see on screen.

The only catch is this one was supposed to be a prototype, its not even accurately sized in game, it should be a large base as its about the size of an ISD.
Seems like they just went with the design and ran with it.

We already have the ISD-I.
Despite thinking FFG should have made much mure different rules for classes that are not successors of antoher class (ISD II -> ISD I, VSD II -> VSD I), its nearly impossible FFG will make a second set for the ISD-I.

I dunno, there's been repaints for ships in X Wing, can't see why it wouldn't happen in Armada.
Just finished reading Tarkin. Although it has no major bearing on the story, for a brief moment it talks about a secutor class Star destroyer. 2200m long, is canon. Twice the size of an ISD. There's our extra large ship, folks. Playable on our board size and all. It's a carrier, and about the armament of a normal ISD. It carries twelve squadrons. I'm not saying give it that many squadron points, but it could be a fun carrier. On the opposite end of the spectrum, is the allegiance class battle cruiser. No squadron compliment but twice the firepower of an ISD. 2200m. Not sure if this one is canon though.
I think for the rebels: The three ship we saw in Rogue One that is still not in the game MC75 (medium), Hammerhead corvette, and Brahatok Gunship (flotilla). Quasar carrier for the imps. And absolutely nothing from the new TFA timeline.
I'd like to see antisquadron flotillas. No squadron command value at all (or squad 1 cuz of the way tokens work) but solid antisquad armaments/titles for both sides. Brahatok for rebs, dunno what for Imps. If theres nothing in the lore they can always make something up.
Also want the MC75.
Regarding ships, I think the Hammerhead Corvette and MC-75 are guaranteed to arrive in Armada.
For fighters, Blue Squadron seems likely along with U-Wing and TIE Striker squadrons.
I'm not sure what else would come to the Empire, but I think it should be something that promotes the asymmetry between the factions. Maybe a 30" SSD (some assembly required?) and Gunboat.
I loved playing these in TIE Fighter so many, many years ago.....holy crap I am old...LOL!!!!!

Why bring in a U-Wing...its a troop combat transport.....not a full on combat ship. Plus the TIE Striker is more of a planetary ship, not a true star-fighter.
