So a happy friday to everyone. This year a ton came out so lets start with that,

We saw Scum win worlds and by a non USA player, congrats. I think this year seeing the Defenders finally getting the spot light after so many years makes me happy. (they were a solid ship before and now there amazing).

So I ask this question ending 2016 what is your favorite ship and what are you hoping to see in 2017?

I hope next year we see a tie in to Ep 8 which brings the new A-wings we saw leeked pictures for, and I really cant wait for new First Order goodness.

My favorite ship to fly is still the YV-666.

What I hope to see in 2017 is a Scum epic ship! (The dream never dies.)

I second a Scum Epic ship for 2017.

A close runner-up is Phoenix Squadron A-Wings and Blue Squadron X-Wings, with rules for Squadron play!

Well my favorite has got to be the B-wing. Which is why I'd like to see it get some love in 2017!

Man is time flying by! It seems like yesterday you were wishing a Merry Christmas to all.

My favorite ship to fly is the lowly Y-Wing. A decent, all around, utility ship. Bombs, torps and a turret! Throw in a crazy droid and have fun.

Still waiting for a S&V epic.

My favorite ship is still the Tie Bomber. It's proven brutal in the CR-90 campaign, of course.

New ships? Epic scum would be quite nice. More epic or some sort of campaign would also be super nice.

No new ships, just want Scum Most Wanted 2: Most Wanteder.

Featuring new options for existing Scum small ships, and pilot cards for everything valued by the other factions. (All your epics, Defenders, K wings... Dammit, we'll even take Biggs)

Also including T65 X-wing fix, Scum only.

2016 was when I first got into X-Wing, and I've plunged all-in. Hoping to see a Scum Epic in 2017. Also hoping to see some new crew for the Rebels that synergize with other ships around them to make the Uwing even more fun to fly.

Favorite Scum Ships: YV-666 and Jumpmaster 5k, depending on the list I'm looking for

Favorite Rebel Ships: Keyen's Bwing, HotR Falcon, and T70 Xwings -- I just got the Ghost last week so it's highly likely this can change up

Favorite Imperial: Omega Leader and Inquisitor.

I started in 2016, too, and gradually building Rebel and Imperial forces after going all Scummy to start things off. I am very pleased with:

Rebel: having a Millennium Falcon via the HotR expansion

Scum: Protectorate and JumpMaster (just one of the latter, thanks)

Imperial: Veterans, and looking forward to the Upsilon

I hope to see a Rebel Veterans expansion focused on the Y-Wing and X-Wing, Scum Epic, Scum Vets focused on StarViper and Khrzzzz, and Imperial X-Wing(s).

Wait....Rebels are all about unique pilots and crew that synergize with each other all the time. If you just got into the game, aren't they all new? I mean, you just described most Rebel pilots and/or unique crew right there as what you are looking for.

Well, for 2017 I'd like to see more tech slots for Rebels. For now they are stuck with T-70 X wing to Imperial 3 ships with the slot.

Favorite Ship: Millenium Falcon (TFA) piloted by Rey

I also liked the additions of the Shadowcaster (Scum) and the Imperial Veterans pack w/ the Defenders (x/7 title); in 2017 my wishes are the following: a Scum Epic ship, a ship piloted by Leia Organa (N-1 Naboo Starfighter to be specific) the introduction of cross-faction ships; No matter what happens in 2017 I know X-Wing will continue to grow as a community and game.

Most of the crew I've seen benefit the ship they are on, not the ships nearby. Jan, Jyn, and Kanan are the only ones that seem to help other ships I can think of.

I'm thinking of ways to use the Uwing similar to a Palp Aces but Rebels. The crew on the Uwing helping the Aces specifically.

The Kihraxz buff is called the Protectorate Starfighter. At least, I don't really see anyone playing with the Kihraxz even with a fix unless it can somehow exceed Fenn.

Scum Aces/Vets would be a good pack though.

What do I want to see in 2017? You know what I want to see in 2017...

My favorite ship to use currently is Rey with Expertise Finn Kannan and TFA title. I'm not really a fan of turrets but Rey does not really play like one and I still get to use the Falcon.

My wish list for 2017:

Scum Aces with small ship fixes

Veterans of Scarif X-wing Y-wing pack with titles for both and more Y pilots with EPTs.

Any expansion that helps small ships in general as it seems they are falling way behind large ships. Excluding Defenders.

I don't have anything Wave 9 or later yet, but I love the design of the U-Wing. It might be my new favorite over the original Y-Wing as best Star Wars ship.

What I want to see in 2017? To have the ability to actually play some X-Wing outside of tournaments. My job sucks when it comes to OT and I usually work 50 hour a week or so. Combine that with another hour and a half commuting to and from work doesn't leave much time for X-Wing.

My favorite sleeper release this year is the dial upgrades. They seemed like a gimmick until I actually saw them. Being able to actually see the entire dial at once is a huge boon to my game.
