The card's text seems to be saying that Leia's heroic encouragement is enabling other pilots temporarily to operate 'normally' in conditions that would otherwise induce dangerous stress. The Echo Base speech ("Two fighters against a star destroyer?") kind of fits this scenario, no?

I'm sure the late Carrie Fischer--who spent much of her life campaigning for feminist principles and resisting the desire of so many to reduce her (and other females) to their physical beauty while fixating on issues like weight and aging--would really appreciate this sort of comment. I'm sure she's smiling down upon us now, thankful for being once more reduced to a male-gaze appreciation of her youthful appearance, which as she noted is always largely a result of someone's luck-of-the-draw DNA.

So I did a search with your premise and found nothing.
No life long campaign, not a champion of feminism, just an easy going comedian, writer, actor.

She was cast, at least partly, based on her attractiveness; face it - no one would have cast an ugly Princess Leia (not sure why she was demoted to 'General').

but I think the off camera medal setup you found is unique enough.

I think from Magic that would work more like a new upgrade slot, as it changed the type of card from X to Legendary X. I also can't see that working because we already have what would be considered legendary heroes in X-wing, which are the named pilots with high PS. Worse, no matter how you did it you'd be treating "named" crew as generic crew if you could have more than one per squad.
"Only one copy of a given legendary card may be in control by a same player at the same time. If multiple copies of a legend are under control by a same player, the player choose one of them, and all of the rest are put into the graveyard (discard pile)."
... there is one exception, and that would be to introduce clones.
• Clone (1 pt.) Place this card under a unique crew card that does not have the Limited restriction. Consider your ship to have equipped two copies of that crew card. You must still pay the squad point cost for the duplicate.

She should be released as a Y-wing pilot ... canonically she flew a Y-wing to Tatooine as part of Han's rescue IIRC.
In "Shattered Empire - III" comic released before Force Awakens (canonical) herself, Shara Bey, and the Queen of Naboo all used N-1 Naboo Starfighters to destroy satellites, and defend themselves. At the time of launch Shara, Leia and the Queen were outnumbered 72 to 3; Leia saved Shara from certain death and the Rebel Fleet led by Lando Calrissan showed up in the nick of time to destroy the Imperial Fleet.

PS7, with a Naboo Starfighter being roughly the statline of a Light Scyk (2 3 2 1) but, you know, actually priced properly: Leia would probably be 18pts, with a 'ps 2' version being 13. Juke becomes a mighty tempting mini-ace pick, but far from the only one.
... I'm sure they'll come up with something far wackier for the real deal, of course.

I'd have once said 'absouletyl not', but they've done it for pilots, now. On the same ship, no less! So I guess there's nothing stopping them from doing it to crew cards too.

This is incredible. We recommend a commission be sent to Ukraine to ascertain the truth." It was a joke meme, but I still got a warning point for it, and the next week they opened the off-topic sub-forum, total BS.
