TIE/FO Fighter, hands down.

Everything you need for it to be competitive comes right out of the box, supplements core set, and is priced in the cheapest tier.

For the nostalgia it's a toss up between the Decimator and the Scyk. For gameplay, Imp Vets (I've always enjoyed playing Defenders).

Imperial Veterans, because now I can put TIE bombers on the board and win

The YV-666.....It's the first ship I got that I got on a winning streak with. Still can win most of my matches with it, plus it's just a fun overall ship with the three crew slots to fit all the awesome scum crew.

I love the Shadow Caster. I'm surprised only one other person mentioned it. I'm increasingly impressed with it every time I play with it. Then, Imperial Veterans.

The K-Wing! Having Miranda in my squad enabled me to win half my games in my first tournament.

I then went on to lost all games but one in my SECOND tournament, but still .

The Autothrusters expansion! It even comes with a decorative Starviper ship...
