Hey guys!
The Aussie guy who wrote all those other articles here (regarding Worlds and such).
I've just started a new blog about IA, and I've kicked it off with an in-depth analysis about Luke Skywalker - Jedi Knight. More of Jabba's Realm to follow!

Rebel High Command - Articles about Imperial Assault
Nice. I am intrigued by Jedi Luke, but I'm struggling to figure out how to round out my list with him. He necessitates plunging forward a bit more than I'm used to, and his 12 points are tough to swallow, but two attacks, and with Son of Skywalker potential... Oh man!

Awesome, I'll be reading that now, really enjoyed your worlds prep articles!
Great work Kenny, love to see such awesome contributions to our game.

Thank you
I love writing and I love Imperial Assault, and I feel that there's a bit of a void of in depth articles. So here I am to (hopefully) fill it! Hope you enjoyed it!

Look out for an article coming a little later where I'll do some more talking about lists with him
If you wanted to play him in my world championship list, you could try cutting the Sabs and including MHD-19 to go for a Heroic Effort list.
Awesome. Can't wait for more. I enjoy your articles. (I wish you wrote for our site ![]()

Keep up the good work! ![]()
Luke is a beast. I played against a friend here yesterday, him sporting a Heroic Effort List with Jedi Luke against my new Captain Terro list (Terro, 2x eStormtroopers, 2x eProbe Droid and 2x rOfficer,Zillo). He nearly took Terro down in one turn due to getting that double move, attack, Son of Skywalker combo. Only discarding a few cards and getting a flamethrower in to weaken the second set of attacks saved him.
That 16 health is nothing to sneeze at, especially with deflect to make sure that you're almost always taking some damage back.
Really good article. Loved the mathematical analysis in there as well.

The math part took a while, but I think seeing those numbers sometimes is eye opening. It will probably have to scale a bit with each unit (the chance of Alliance Rangers, coming up next, doing 5 damage is extraordinarily low, so I'll probably do it at 3 or 4 damage) but still, it's handy!
Hope you keep on reading! ![]()
