X-Wing is almost out of stuff to be on the back burner - Wave 10 will be here soon and after that there is NOTHING in development.

Imperial Assault has their next wave hitting tomorrow - then NOTHING in development.

Armada's last wave hit last week, and right now it has NOTHING in development.

Even Star Wars Destiny has already launched and has NOTHING in development.

Granted all of these "NOTHING"'s are only referring to officially published news - because we know Imperial Assault is working on a companion app, and Destiny has a Rogue One expansion ready to be announced - and we can also assume that there will be an Endor/Emperoro based expansion for Imperial Assault and Hammerheads and new stuff for Armada...

Man, there are a ton of Rogue One background pilots that could easily be in X-Wing. Merrick's just the most prominent.

Also, we need squadron titles in general.

So true. However i am the weirdo who would like the Missile Boat instead. Still is an impossible dream either way.

We might get a few of the HUTT and BLACK SUN Ships still... but IMP and REB oddballs from the videos games are probably gone for good. MOUSE will see to it... old-crap NO = our NEW Stuff YES!
