I wish I was kidding. Really wish I was. My wife called me to tell me - and I almost accused her of lying to me. I thought she was stable. I thought she was safe. She was only 60. That is too young for this.
Episode 8 is going to be incredibly emotional now.... I'm literally going to cry the entire film. It will probably be delayed I'm willing to bet. I've heard that most of her scenes had been filmed, but I can't even guess what impact this is going to fully have there...
I just don't even have the right words. Can't even process it yet.

Can we blame 2016. No. We blame the passing of time. As with Bowie, Lemmy, Rickman ,etc .. all of these folk were in their prime 20-30 years ago. It's kind of expected that some of our childhood heroes will start to age and have to deal with the side effects.

Episode 8 is finished filming and they've proven they can sufficiently replace actors with CGI stand ins. Obviously Disney had her killed to avoid having to pay her anything more.
