I've noticed on Amazon that a lot of the wave I packs are ridiculously priced, and many other games websites they are out of stock. Thankfully I have most of the stuff already, but need an IG-88 and want another Rebel Troopers pack.

Have they been discontinued? Or are they awaiting a reprint? Just concerned to be honest, because it would be pretty bad if they discontinued IG-88, considering you get his card/token in the core set, along with Rebel Troopers.

Also, any advice for getting my hands on an IG-88? I've never seen them priced similarly to the other expansions, they're always three times the price.

If you wait for a few weeks the retailers will get their stocks back up and you won't have to pay anything over MSRP.

True, I know a guy here in the states that actually paid nearly $40 for Fett a few months back. What makes it even worse is he was ecstatic about getting such a good deal. Always with FFG games, patience my friend, they will come around again. Any old X wing players here? Tie Interceptors and A wings for stoopid inflated prices way back in wave two, or look up the Tie Striker on amazon now. Whenever the supply dries up in between reprints or short stock the prices always climb.

Oh right, so it's just a process of patiently waiting for a restock. Phew! I rushed out to buy some Rebel Saboteurs (normal price thankfully) because I was worried they were going to stop being made, thanks!

Boba Fett is traveling by boat to you, and I'm sure FFG has not forgotten about the wave 1 packs either. As soon as their stock get low, they will schedule a reprint. As far as I remember there has been two reprints of the wave 1 already.

Generally speaking, FFG keeps everything in production until the game is discontinued as a whole. That doesn't mean there won't be supply issues, but things will be reprinted eventually - it's just a matter of time.

As long as they sell, ffg has no reason to not print more. So out of stock is a good thing, and eventually there will be more. The things to watch out for is the stock isnt moving, or if their license to make it has ended.

I noticed that with X-Wing and now Destiny where initial supply decreases cause secondary market prices to get wonky, but it eventually resets. FFG is good about keeping product in rotation and with it being Star Wars, it's bound to actively produced.
