Apologies if this just farther up the thread than I can quickly find, but is this match being streamed on any platform, or just on Vassal? I've been relegated to a Chromebook, and thus lacking an OS easily able to make Vassal work.

Streaming and stuff is typically TO stuff. I've never streamed anything in my life!

Yes. But I've no idea if he's planning to stream.
Looking at YouTube now...apparently I can stream there, but need encoder software.
I tried, but it was too complicated to play on two monitors while also streaming.
If someone else could jump in an do it, it would be great.
I'm not in a position to do so myself, unfortunately, but if anyone wants to stream it, it's super quick and easy to get up and running with OBS and Twitch.

If anybody does this, you can also go in Twitch to Settings > Channels & Videos > Archive Broadcasts to save off the stream on your twitch account.

If I wasn't playing, I'd do it...but it's too much to keep track of for me.
Will anybody post some live comments here like "First ship vadered!" for us not able to watch? Then I can peep every now and then into this thread when my wife and little one are not looking...

JJ responds to GK and is turning towards the right hand side. Appears that ISD is going to go wide and allow Demo in on the inside utilising Jerrod to get the sharp turns.
Jonus is sitting in front of the ISD as bait for instigator should Vader wish to lock down the enemy squads.
Vaders Demo has turned sharpely, and it looks like Vader may be planning to clear the squads before the enemy ships get in range. Well that appears to be the plan at least.

Jerrods ISD move puts Instigator under threat. JJ is clearly wanting to clear out that pesky ship in order to gain last/first for himself.
GK responds by turning his own ISD into the fight, and you can feel the tension as JJ pauses to think about how to react. Bluff is called, this game is engaging a turn earlier than JJ would like, who was wanted to stall until his ships were all ready for the fight. As it is impetus and Demo will be a touch too slow for the first engagement.
Its going to be a critical play here, clearly GK has chosen to take the impetus (pun intended), and turns Instigator into the fight also. Sitting nicely on the spacestation at long range to take the ISD I shot down to a two red dice, so Jonus cant really have much effect on the potency. Wise move. A squadron killing field is being set up here. Will JJ go for it?
JJ''s Raider is stuck between and rock and a hard place. Turn hard to avoid the fight at speed 2, or go forward and be trapped between an ISD, a raider and an unactivated Demo? It went forward, and will likely be first activation next turn. GK forcing JJ's hand here. The Raider may very well be forced out of the fight as it overshoots.
GK's demo does first damage with 1 shield damage on Impetus.
JJ chooses to keep his squads back rather than go towards the Kallus ISD or protected Instigator. Looks like he will want to throw Jonus after an activated ship in order to gain the accuracy. Not sure myself about holding Mithel back, he could have used a squad command on the raider, to potentially kill Ciena or at the very least put two damage onto them by the end of his first activation.
To summarise here: The fear of Demo is arguably a greater weapon than Demo itself.
