I'm in the Eastern Time Zone (GMT -5) and should be able to play weekday evenings as well as during some of the weekends.

I am prequalified.

Local time is GMT+8 (Western Australia), but I usually find it easier to play Americans (their evening, my morning)

We have 1 player more than is necessary, so if we get some more signups, we can do the fleet patrol / or 3 round tournament with the overflow. Otherwise whoever the odd man out is will get automatic entry into 2018 (yes, not the greatest prize when you want to play).

Edit: Singups will close in 7 days, and I will (semi) randomly determine who the non-qualified signups are in and who are fleet patrolling.

I'd like to give it a try. Played only a vassal Armada games but several dozen X-wing games on vassal, so I'm fairly comfortable with it

Um...so timing question. We need to have our lists posted to the form no later than Jan. 9th 1200 GMT, right? so we really only had about 7 days-ish to perfect our fleets from this post. 10 days was when we would start playing the lists, right?

So, are the late comers alternates?

Priority is as follows for non-pre-qualified: (in order of getting put in the side-tournament instead of the PODs)

1: Didn't submit a fleet (shame on you!)

2: Time Zone issues (Example, 3 GMT +10 / +11 / +12 players - someone who is GMT +11 is going to be placed in a POD with them before I find someone who is -5 to slot in there)

3: Random Selection

Order of signup is not a guarantee of a slot... sorry.
