Hello there, I started the game a little more than 1 month ago, and starting to have a decent fleet I decide to repaint some of my ships

I haven't painted for 20 years, and really enjoy to get back at it

Here some pictures, even if I allready repaint some of them cause I wasn't satified with the results

K-Wing

I want it with dark grey colors. It was the second ship I repainted. I did a YT-1300 first, but didn't like it (nether take a picture of it )

YT-2400

The model make me want it with "random" coloring panels with differents purple nuances, and some white. Later I add gold, cause it look good with purple

VT-49

I like black, white and red

Phantom

My first try with cloaking effect. I don't like it, and did another one today (but haven't take a photo yet)

Defender

I only did reactor on the red one, and a purple one for Vessery

Starviper

I like the look of the ship. I wanted it red and gold, to make it a bit shiny

Good Stuff! I really like that YT-2400, the random panel design really fits.

I really like that scheme on the K, and the mosaic patterns on the large ships is eye-catching.

The Viper is a real stand out for me - great colour selection and subtle battle damage.

Your painting reminds me of an Artist by the name of Chris Foss.

He is a fantastic artist of a lot of science fiction works.

And he painted many ships in an Aztec style.

Your models remind me of that style.

I haven't finish the Quad Jumper, still some battle damage to do.

Impressive!!!

Excellent stuff! And you can already see an improvement from the first ship you posted to the last. My main critique would be the thin your paint down a bit when painting, looks a bit thick in places and you can see paintbrush strokes. other than that, a great effort after not painting for 20 years.
