Santa... crew or condition card?

Santa crew, 2 points, unique.

At the beginning of the Combat phase assign every ship on the board a focus token then discard this card. Presents for everyone!

Santa crew, 4 points, unique.

At the end of Place Forces step assign the 'Nice' condition card to one friendly ship and the 'Naughty' condition card to one enemy ship.

Nice condition card

Each turn this ship may receive one token represented on its action bar. If this ship conducts an attack remove this card.

Naughty condition card

After this ship conducts an attack, it may no longer spend focus, evade or target lock tokens. To remove this card you must transfer a focus token to an enemy ship you are touching.

An option could be to rework the Nice and Naughty conditions as a dual sided card.

Curious to hear other ideas for Star Wars Santa!

Santa (2 crew slots, 4 points): At the start of the Activation phase, assign the "Naughty" condition to one ship in range 1-3 and the "Nice" condition to a second ship in range 1-3. At the start of the Combat phase, if the ship with the "Nice" condition is within range 1-2 of the ship with the "Naughty" condition, transfer 1 shield token from the ship with the "Naughty" condition to the ship with the "Nice" condition.

At beginning of activation, if the ship attacked last round, it is Naughty. give it a lump of coal (Tractor beam token slam it into a rock)

If the ship did not attack last round, it is Nice. Assign it a focus token

Then remove the condition from the ship

I'd like to think "Santa" could be used as a pilot, crew and condition card simultaneously. He'd be useful only on Rebel ships. As a pilot:

1) Your action bar contains the focus, evade, target lock, boost, barrel roll and slam actions.

2) There's no limit to the number of actions you can take per turn. Subject to not repeating an action.

3) All maneuvers are green including turns and banks at speeds 4 and 5. (Comes with special movement templates)

4) You're allowed to attack after activation, during the combat phase and again during the end phase.

5) You can strip all tokens from 3 Imperial ships anywhere on the board and replace those tokens with an equal number of stress tokens.

Ok, that's my Santa 'wishlist'. Next up is the Easter Bunny.

But those Santas just take creepy photos with kids. The real Santa gives buffs to those who are Nice and those who are naughty... they miss out.

Not true. The Mall of America had two Santas on different floors this year. I am not sure about previous years.

When you Deploy a bomb token, you may choose to place it using the rear or forward movement guides, or may use the side of your base. When a bomb upgrade would require you to discard the card, ignore that requirement.

New bombs:

Coal

When you reveal your maneuver dial, you may Deploy a Coal token.

Treat Coal tokens as Asteroids for all purposes until the end of the game.

When a ship overlaps a Present, it Detonates. When a Present Detonates, assign the ship that triggered it 2 Focus tokens and 2 Evade tokens, and that ship may immediately acquire a Target Lock.

When declared the target of an attack, you may immediately Deploy one bomb, even if you are stressed and that bomb would normally require an Action to Deploy.

You may treat each Bomb icon on your upgrade bar an an Illicit icon.

Place 9 Reindeer tokens on this title at the start of the game. Whenever you are hit by an attack, you may instead remove one Reindeer token from this card and receive one Stress token to cancel all damage or other effects from that attack.

Reveal Santa Condition:

Play only when both Luke & Vader or Han/Leia & Kylo Ren are In play.

When this card is played, the player using Luke must emit an anguished "Nnnoooooooohh!" If Kylo Ren is in play, that player must call his dad (or speak with LGS manager as a surrogate) and explain that s/he knows what must be done, doubts her/his strength to do it, and ask for help.

@Levi P - love the sleigh, especially the idea of deploying bombs that buff... there could actually be something there for a real game mechanic....
