I think may like the ability of Countdown the best It seems good to soak up big attacks or mitigate crits. The one catch is its once per round limitation. The I thought to pair it with Yorr and possibly get 2-3 uses per round. Sure, this reduces its effectiveness if it only lasts for 1-2 shooting rounds, but better him than another ship getting shot at. I was looking for another ace-type heavy hitter to add and with the cheapness of Countdown, Whisper seemed a good choice. I ended up coming up with what is essential a revamp to the "Mynock Special." I hope no trademarks were infringed upon. I took their classic list and update some crew and upgrades with newer things:

With Yorr needing to be near the fray I figured an EU will help him keep up with the Striker and give him some offensive mods to make better use of that 3 die gun. Also the IR gives him the ability to keep pulling stress from countdown, or even a K-Turning Whisper. With Yorr's big gun I though made switch up some crew and let Whisper be the token-stripper for the two remaining 3 dice guns.
Help/advice would be cool.
