I have a small collection of the Core set, one of each sides fighter sets, an ISD, an MC30, and a second CR90. how even a fight would this be. so far I've only gotten to play with the core set but may get a few games in this week, of course only using my meager collection.

or better yet can the two fleets be evened up with upgrades from these packs?

I would play at 300 points per side and you should be just fine.
