Screw your defense dice!

I learned early on that it's sometimes better to take off a few upgrades for a totally new ship than to stack them on one ship that's liable to be destroyed in one fell swoop and waste all those points.

On the U-Wing, we can probably drop the Seismic Torpedoes and the Stealth Device. With the torps, turning an obstacle into a bad bomb just isn't that good and removing it just isn't very good for this list as it really isn't that contingent on actions like aces or alpha strike would be. Stealth Device is only truly good on ships that can never be hit by an attack under relatively normal circumstances. Currently it's only really good on Soontir Fel with Palp backup, as that guy can arc-dodge and take the evade action in addition to getting a focus every turn. Putting it on a large base ship with no good way to really make it slippery (Sensor Jammer sadly doesn't do enough). Speaking of, we could make an argument for replacing SJ with Fire Control System as it is useless against ships with a higher pilot skill and a focus, although I do like the Hot-Shot + Baze combo that you've made here and SJ helps a lot against swarms. I can't help but feel like the duo would be better on a ship with PS 11 and a primary weapon turret (like VI Han).

As for the B-Wing, the Autoblaster, Proton Torpedoes, and Extra Munitions can be dropped. Firstly, Autoblasters just isn't powerful enough for the points. Ten's ability already ensures that the crit given by Bistan goes through, so pushing through damage shouldn't be a problem. Plus, in addition to the crit, only one more damage can go through as opposed to a potential 2 to 3 more damage than Ten's primary can do. As for the ordinance, the problem of needing a target lock to fire is pretty much offset by Expertise, but spending 6 points on something that your primary weapon can do just isn't really worth it in my opinion.

Taking off all these, we are left with 19 points. Taking off the Jammers we're left with 27 points, which just so happens to be enough to include the Rebel's most useful X-Wing pilot, Biggs Darklighter with his best friend R4-D6 and Integrated Astromech. That gives your list 6 extra health to use for attacks on your already beefy U-Wing and B-Wing. If taking off the Jammers is out of the question then an A-Wing blocker is invaluable for a list that likes to deny focuses like this. That leaves you with 4 extra points to play around with.

TL;DR: Remove Seismic Torps and Stealth Device on the U-Wing and Autoblaster, Proton Torps, and Extra Munitions on the B-Wing for a PS1 A-Wing blocker to deny more actions. You can take off the Sensor Jammers for an R4-D6 Biggs too.

Jans Ors and Recon Specialist combined with Sensor Jammer actually works really well.
