U-WING: AWESOME & TIE Striker: MEH!

By Joe Boss Red Seven, in X-Wing

This was fun to watch. Apparently U-WINGS are universally awesome and TIE Strikers really are just kinda MEH...

It was amusing to hear compliments and complaints being leveled at these new ships (similar to what we have been saying here) from another game.

;)

TIE Strikers in Battlefront need to be buffed BADLY. They don't do anything. Ever. At all.

The U-Wing, however, doesn't need a nerf in any way aside from getting rid of the boost. The problem is, TIE Fighters have a hard time catching it in time. This is fine when there's one, but then they start sending out multiple U-Wings upon destruction. Which is stupid. So there's two options.

1: Multiple U-Wings without boosters.
2: One U-Wing with boosters.

I think option 1 is better because you get more players involved at once in trying to reach the objective, making everything really quite frantic.

Also, my very first time flying one, I got us through. Cause I'm a good pilot.

(I've gone 46/0 in Fighter Squadrons.)

funny, because my U-wings generally just die :P

note: this isn't a bad thing because their entire point in life is to put their fat asses between Miranda and the enemy

but it's hard for them to shine when they're doing their job

I found strikers with stealth device to be very fun.

Very interesting... how well do you think the ships are doing (gonna do when the rest of us get them) in out game?

:)

Right on Imperial Brah... right on!

For me the Large Base is great. You can get around faster and also for LAND WAR you get that nice area to drop troopers off on the bases edge.

I love this ship!!!

:)

Not sure there is anything wrong with either ship, not sure they are good yet either. Frankly, after x7 defenders, every ship is gonna seem blah until proven otherwise. You just can't beat a free evade token.

Why do we even have an off topic forum of no-one is going to use it...

So you have something to post about? Most traffic is going to begin and end in General so there's really no point posting there unless you round up some folks over here to begin with.

Well I don't know for sure man, I haven;t played XWMG in months. Not due to lack of interest, but due to lack of opportunity.

The TIE STriker sounds great honestly. The U-WIng sounds like a wonderful ship.

Fair enough Brah! I think they will be fine additions with their own flavor.

:D

PLAY MORE X-WING!

I can't play it alone, nor do I want to try.
