I'm going to start a solo campaign just to practice with the rules and what I call "fleet maneuvers" ok more practice moving around my tiny plastic spaceships while going pewpew! Anyone else? note- my wife works nights and the kids are in bed so I have some free time.

Yep, I've been "playing" armada all the time since the day it came out. I've played less then ten games with people though. I'm starting my CC campaign right now.

I'm doing both. I have a massive game in progress on my own to determine strategies and work out my fleets. I usually get one battle done per evening. I'm also looking to try to write an AI for both sides on the strategic level as I think it would be a fun project.

I have also started a league at my FLGS and we are looking to review the rules this week and get started next week. This league has only 4 players, but there seems to be additional interest. I'm curious to see if this campaign can expand to 8 players (4 per side) with a victory condition of 20 points.

I'm doing both also, I figure its good practice for the real thing! Ya I'm not sure the VP level is set to my liking, might modify that in the future.

Starting turn 3 today. So for it is fairly even. One rebel fleet took a tough beat down in turn 2. Will see how scarred changes a battle.

So far it has been a blast!

Yeah I am finding solo is much more fun as I can dictate what goes on the board and what doesn't.
