Have FFG updated/errat'd Kessel from the earlier entries in Edge of The Empire Main Rulebook and other books such as Mask of The Pirate Queen? Rebels Canon has made a lot of major changes to the planet and a lot of the published materials from FFG now conflicts with the new Canon (Kessel is no longer shaped like a rotten potato, has a breathable atmosphere that's not dependent on atmosphere factories, etc...).
Kessel Errata?
Kessel might have a terrible world-killing event between the time of Rebels and the time of the default setting of Edge.
Or just use the version you like best.
Or even make a brand new version you like bester.
No! Maintain continuity in your game with Approved Disney Canon at all times. Rip these treasonous pages from your book and purify them with fire. Otherwise, there will be . . . consequences.

I never did like Bester. I don’t have any problems with Walter Koenig, but the character of Bester just seemed to be … “off” … to me.

We had someone run an adventure on Kessel that simply split it into Kessel Major and Kessel Minor, with Major being the planet where they go in Rebels, and Minor being the prison potato moon that orbits it.
The biggest problem is the excess of geonosians in the beginner game follow up adventure.

I gotta disagree. I really feel like the Bester/psychic plot could have been explored more - that and the rebel plotline were my favorite bits, and I never felt that either got the attention it could have used. Bester was creepy, sure, but he was creepy in a good way, if that makes any sense.
On the other hand, I could have done without Delen. She was a little bit much.

He's right; you do not want a visit from Disney's "continuity enforcement bureau".

Well, between the howitzer on the front lawn, the bradley fighting vehicle in the garage, the barrett .50 on the mantle and the 4 modified AR-15s with full-auto modifications, I think I can deal with some pesky "continuity enforcement bureau" agents

I rather like this idea. Thank you. I was thinking the potato Kessel could be a asteroid/planetoid that was further/deeper in orbit than the "Rebels" Kessel.

Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed. The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force.
