Wave V is a disappointment, particularly Phoenix Home. I believe that "fleet command" should be assigned to your designated flag ship, and that medium and large based ships should be able to carry squadrons regardless of an update. The squadrons are fine, in fact, impressive, but I'm afraid that I just can't bring myself to play this game anymore, without gasping at the nonsense that some of the upgrade cards are for this wave. How can a Crew add a defensive upgrade to a ship, and only to an imperial ship? Unlike X-Wing, this game has lost touch with the themes, and obvious function and distinctions between the different types of ships in the SW universe. I think that I'll be better served by buying an Xbox One, than the ships and squadrons that I had planned to buy.
Passing on this wave
OK.
Merry Christmas mate. Take care and good luck. Thanks for your wave 5 feedback. I will still play Armada
Enjoy the Xbox, and the limitless salt of online play.
OK.

Don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out
What's the point of discussion here?
Thanks for sharing.
OK.
Hey, you stole my job here.
I think I smell...wait what's that....over there, looming over on the horizon... OH MY GOD, IT'S THE CRAD!!!!
(Christmas ruined/Armada Dead)

I like turtles.

I agree that the "fleet command" should be avaibale for flag ships like the home one too. I also dont like the look of the Phoenix home and wont get it. But I can understand anyone that likes it.
I think you dont understand of the cards.... a crew (like tula) can represents that somebody is on board that had special connecntions or abilites for example to modify the ship or get some extra equipment that is not standard issue. Why only imperial? Perhaps simply because the rebels lack somebody that has enough resources to make a whish an modify a military battlecarrier?
This is the great thing though. You can still play and not have those ships. I still do not have wave 4 ships and don't plan on getting them. Wave 3 was great for me. Wave 5 is another great ships that I enjoy. Even when Armada does die, I will keep the ships on display. Getting my ass kicked in a game or tourney does not bother me. I just want to have fun and enjoy time playing.
Maybe wave 6 will fit your style better. Keep at it and enjoy the game.
Man, what is with all the people that never post here suddenly coming in and dumping on the game?

There is no horizon. What has the Empire done?
Since I'm bored at work...
1 - Well, you are leaving the best community in gaming! (The comments you are getting are the result of a non-constructive post.)
2 - Fluffwise... from Star Wars Rebels (*potential spoilers*)
a - Sato is always giving fleet commands to Phoenix Squadron and he's pretty much the top dog of the fledgling Rebel fleet.
b - Tua is really a bureaucrat that is really trying to protect her hide and she does seem to want to protect the citizens of Lothal (so can see the defensiveness).
3 - To paraphrase from Game of Thrones... when Jon Snow takes over the Night's Watch... the guy that doesn't like him says, "welcome to leadership... where everyone questions your choices always."
Look, we all think that we can do better than the game designer... however, there's a reason why you don't show up to a FLGS and find peeps to play HomeBrew with you... for the most part, everyone LOVES the rules, LOVES the game and it's STANDARDIZED size... everyone talks the same Armada language!

It does seem that up until a week or two ago the forums were very healthy, and then bam, out of the wood work come these obvious trolls... Can't put it past competitors creating accounts just to dump on their competition before a big release and the holiday shopping season...
Its a game after all.

sorry to hear you feel this way but it is understandable.
I personally am really excited for this wave. I think it brings some much needed changes to both factions. I understand what you mean about ship themes but sometimes game companies need to get away from those themes for the sake of replay-ability and balance.
If rebels are always the kite and shoot, stay at long range faction and the imperials are always the "im gonna get you" chase you down and try to crush you faction. The game will get very old and stale quickly.
Enjoy the X-Box, I am more a playstation fan, and hopefully you come back to armada in the future.
Played my first wave 5 game yesterday, had a blast. The arq expansion fills a few glaring needa in the imperial fleet building toolkit, and if you like squadrons at all then this wave is gonna keep you listing and tinkering for months/ever.

Pun intended?
Alright dude! Thanks for letting us know, i will adjust my future plans!
