Tie Striker 'fix'

Because the Visual Guide says that it has proton bombs, a heavy laser cannon, and crew? Its not consistent with other material. (It seems consistent enough with the movie, where it's only seen dogfighting, of course).
It's like if, in Wave 1, they had released a Y-wing that couldn't equip an ion cannon. Its not inconsistent the the films, but doesn't match all the other material we have on the ship.
Ah....
Well if we are going down this rabbit trail what about the HWK-290? Pretty sure the HWK is supposed to be way way better than the X-wing developers gave it for stats.
The only thing I would say it should have is a bomb slot added just because it does seem to be a surface attack fighter in the fluff.
I will say that a Striker that could drop bombs would be utterly menacing with its double-movement thingy. It could SERIOUSLY jet around.
YUP... I am totalley going to do it for my LAND WAR Games.
only "Fix" would be to make it actually in line with the movie. FFG almost made the exact opposite ship that its suppose to be.
But, its a fun and pretty dang good ship. So i dont care.

How is it the exact opposite from what was shown in the movies? You see a couple of them for a few seconds getting blown up by X-Wings. I don't remember seeing them drop any bombs or do anything that would really set them apart from any other TIE variant. FFG could have designed this ship after watching the movie and came up with the same ship.
There was another TIE that looked similar to the Striker that was shown landing and dropping off a small squad of Stormtroopers.

It was supposed to be way better. 2 firepower would have been great, but the best would have been a squirrely dial. The Moldy Crow is one FAST bugger, and especially nimble.
That ship just outright needs an errata at this point. It's a struggle to make it work as well as very similar ships, even if it has wonderful pilots such as Kyle or Jan.
Lightweight frame mark II -1pt
(modification) tie striker only
When perfoming a red maneuver you get 2 stress tokens.
The point reduction allows 6 tie generic strikers and 5 with crack shoot, this "proper" light weight frame makes the strike more fragile meaning performing hard red manuvers are more stressing for the pilot.
Dream on.
There is a reason why FFG did not want 5 times 3att dice with crack at this point in the game. We already have too much power creep.
