CC Sticker Solution?

Here is a photo of what I am talking about:

FYI you can get the dry erase board from hobby lobby for 15$ if you download a 40% off coupon.

This is awesome! I laminated my map and was going to go with tokens, but I'm going to do this instead. All I need is the dry erase board.

Does anyone making a reusable map see any need to put the destroyed bases stickers on any tokens? From what I can tell from a quick read through the manual you don't need Destroyed Base tokens unless you are using the stickers to mark the map.

I'm looking to dedicate 3 magnets to the destroyed bases stickers and use them as "Battles to be completed" as I'm sure not all of the battles will be fought in one day. I'll probably still use these for battles that have not been fought yet once I have magnets for fleets.

Nice idea, I'll do something similar, but probably use a different (non-CC) sticker.

I think I’m going to do the following:

  1. spray paint washers black
  2. put stickers on
  3. drill or punch hole in game board
  4. spray paint Nd magnets black
  5. glue into the holes
  6. reinforce the back of the board with tape

I doubt that they are really needed. I went ahead and turned all mine into magnetized tokens since I was doing the whole set anyway. I can only see keeping them on the map for 1 turn at most.

Using Digital Calipers:

Sticker size:

15.5mm = .610in = 39/64in

Framed map and stickers copied to cling paper (like the kids' doll sets where you change the clothes on the paper doll). You can find it at various craft and/or office stores, or online. Works best on glass/plastic.

This is what you do, you buy a magnetic dry erase board, laminate the map, and buy these ceramic magnets at hobby lobby that come in a pack of 50 for 8$. Stick the stickers on to the magnets and boom! You have a reusable campaign map

Do you think those ceramic magnets would stick to sheet metal through plexiglass?

Bought 4 packs of magnets (32 in total) and applied stickers on them.

7 Imperial bases

4 Rebel bases

6 Rebel outposts

10 Rebel presence

5 Destroyed bases

So map is re-useable, and stickers are "re-useable"

I went the Velcro poster frame route turned out well!

Wish it was easier to store. How do you handle all the extra tokens? Just keep them with the rest of your stuff, or do you have something special set up?

Velcro Strip on the back of the Board.

But my Board sits upright (just not hanging).

I'd love to see more finished pictures of people's modifications. I'm leaning toward the folding board game system with excess space for token adhesion and laminated paper to write on with dry erase marker.

I just posted a description and a few pics of my low-budget, low-production value velcro modification here:

I like it because I can fold it up to easily transport it to the game store where we typically play and just lay it out on a table.
