Just incase anybody was interested in pricing for one reusability solution. I took everything to Staples and had it laminated, I used 3mil laminate for the poster, which turned out perfect and still allows it to be rolled up if desired, and 5mil for everything else. Laminating everything ended up being $20 and change and it all came out good.
CC Sticker Solution?
I would have happily paid double the price for a higher quality campaign box. I'm not buying a second one of these like they seem to want us to do, so it would be nice if I could have given them the money I'm giving to Kinkos and Home Depot.
Fortunately you can pay less than double for a higher quality one. I'd rather them get it out cheaper and be able to do what I want with everything. As can be seen just from this thread a lot of people have different ideas on how to set everything up. No matter what they did it wouldn't have been perfect for everybody. I'm happy with the product at the price.
What size the CC map is?
Talked it over with the main group.
Basically, we'll all chip in like $7 each time we want to play through the campaign and just buy it from the LGS.
That way we have permanent records of the Maps each time.
and this is why it's been set up the way it has
If you have a Marcel's close, they laminate for cheap, like $0.40 a square foot. You can use sharpie on the laminate and erase with dry erase markers.
I'm hoping to see a scan of all the forms that come in the box.
Edited by CusmI'm not comfortable violating that much copyright on an open forum.
Quick question now that I have the campaign set:
If I go the route of using spare objective and victory tokens (the doublesided Reb/Imp insignia ones?) to put the stickers on with a velcro dot on the other side, how many of each should I keep aside and unblemished for use with standard Armada games? Half a dozen of each?

"Objective" (targeting reticle) you rarely need more than 6.
But man, at the Edmonton Tournament I went to a few weeks ago, I snagged
19
Superior Positions Victory Tokens in one game....
Conventional, Standard Wisdom says you'd need:
6 for Contested Outpost
6 for Dangerous Territory
3 for Intel Sweep
18 for Fire Lanes.
Fire lanes is the big one, I guess.
Without having seen the map...
Can't you just laminate it and then use dry-erase markers?

Yes.
This is what you do, you buy a magnetic dry erase board, laminate the map, and buy these ceramic magnets at hobby lobby that come in a pack of 50 for 8$. Stick the stickers on to the magnets and boom! You have a reusable campaign map
Edited by BrikhauseHere is a photo of what I am talking about:
FYI you can get the dry erase board from hobby lobby for 15$ if you download a 40% off coupon.

"What's a Hobby Lobby?"
It is like a Michael's but bigger and often has better deals.
But I bet its only available in the US, right?

Probably a good bet, but I am sure you have something similar either in a hobby craft store or office supply store.
Oh, we have a Michaels here. And its an equivelant.
But I am selfish:
It does people little good when you're talking about special deals that are only available to a subset of the community
Mostly, I'm just trying to get people to post who deals are applicable to when they post them...
.. because honestly, people put up these crazy deals about $7 corvettes and $30 core boxes..... And I get all the way to the End and find out I'm paying $90 in Shipping, ebcause they were only intended for the US...
Its depressing, and I'd rather not be wasting time - just a quick little flick-note at the start, and it saves everyone a lot of hassle...

"If you don't post something that relates directly to me, then deal with this whining because what you posted didn't apply to me"
I already had a good 18"x24" poster frame. I went to Home Depot and got a sheet of 26-gauge, zinc plated, sheet metal. It only came in 24”x36” sheets so I cut it in half with my own sheet metal shears. I cleaned both sides with an alcohol to remove any dirt or grime. I put the map, with the metal sheet behind it in the poster frame. By the way, cut sheet metal is very sharp. I only bled a little.
Next, I gathered excess objective and victory point tokens and used my Dremel tool with a 561 Multi-purpose Cutting Bit to drill about half way through each token. Into the hole, I glued a D63A neodymium magnet (I got these from Amazing Magnets several years ago). Once these were all dry I put the stickers on the other side of the tokens. I then used a sharpie to color the edges of the destroyed tokens black, the Imperial tokens light blue, and the rebel tokens red. I then gave the tokens a thorough coat of Krylon Crystal Clear to seal and protect everything.
It works great. The map is protected under a thin plate of Plexiglas and I didn’t have to glue it to anything. The tokens are easy to place and stay put due to the magnets. They even stay in place if I place the poster map on the wall. The tokens are easy to remove and reuse.

Right back atcha
Does anyone know the diameter of the objective tokens?
Very similar, just a thinner golden border. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c276/Edsel62/Star%20Wars%20Armada/088F07D3-1F9B-42A3-91FD-7252AD2A38E4.jpg

Armada Objective tokens are 3/4" diameter. The stickers in Corellian Conflict are 5/8" diameter.
Thank you!
