So, the Kashyyyk System Open in Southern California is February 18-19. I have made 1001 lists to possibly bring. But now it seems Wave 10 will not be here for a hot second. What are the chances that we'll get this wave in time, and what are the official rules for when a new wave is legal to use. Any info will help, as most of my possible lists use new ships or cards from Wave 10.
San Diego System Open
If I remember correctly, it must have been out for eleven days prior to the tournament to be legal.
So that makes February 7th an important date for those of us in SoCal. But those of you going To Mustafar in TX, will need to see Wave 10 by January 17th. That's a month away. Yikes
The 11 day rule only matters if they classify the open series the same as worlds, North American champs, or nationals. If they consider it the same level as regionals then it is legal day of release.

Good to know. Thanks.
eleven days is for ALL premier level events. That includes regionals and last years systems open.

Look again. Regionals are formal events.
Well, that's odd. Could have sworn that they were premier. Guess since they won't have FFG judges, FFG didnt move them up a notch.
Does anybody know what the discounted "fleet upgrades" that come with the higher cost registration are?

Most of the other Opens are giving away the mats with the higher priced entry fees so I believe it's that but I'm not positive.

Yeah, the mat is already included in the Admiral entry. This is something else. I'm guessing by fleet upgrades, they are selling x-wing stuff onsite and the higher entry holders get a discount. But that's just a guess. Just trying to figure out how much cash I should Bring.

All of it! You could always just buy an extra mat and sell it to me if you have leftover funds
Hoth Open is having random drawings for the mats.
